The Global Coalition for Local and Regional Production, Innovation and Equitable Access promotes a new model of international cooperation to strengthen productive and innovative capacities in health, addressing persistent global inequities in access to health technologies. 

The Coalition acts as a global platform that brings together governments, international organizations, scientific institutions, the productive sector, philanthropic organizations and civil society. Its role is to facilitate better access to vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics and other health technologies, prioritizing neglected diseases and persons in vulnerable situations globally, especially in developing countries.

 Governance

The governance of the Coalition is based on transparency, shared responsibility, and voluntary multistakeholder cooperation. It is composed of three main bodies: Steering Committee, Advisory Committee and Executive Secretariat.
