Its role is to facilitate better access to vaccines, therapeutics, diagnostics and other health technologies, prioritizing neglected diseases and persons in vulnerable situations globally, especially in developing countries.

Governance
The governance of the Coalition is based on transparency, shared responsibility, and voluntary multistakeholder cooperation. It is composed of three main bodies: Steering Committee, Advisory Committee and Executive Secretariat.
